Hey. Just started to use Safari 5. When I go to Youtube, the "recommended for you" box doesn't show up when I log onto my Youtube account, but it does when I use another browser e.g. Firefox. Is this a bug, and how do I fix it? Cheers. Oh and one more thing, in the "top sites" window, how do you scroll through your top sites when you format the icons to large? It only displays six at a time but I have around ten sites but there isn't an arrow or whatever to move through the sites!

I don't know what happened but the problem on my MacBooks has gone away. I can only presume that the problem has been fixed by Youtube and/or Adobe. Whoever, my thanks.
Not for me. Still a problem. Only "fix" I've found is going to the user's pg and watching from there, as suggested on this thread. Still not pleased but satisfied momentarily.
I'm still having problems as well. Even the develop button trick is starting to not work. I'm also having a lag of flash videos across both Safari and Chrome.
I'm just trying to soldier through until Adobe gets their act together for an update/patch.
Flash does not run at 64-bit. You must check 32-bit in Safari's "Get Info" window for Flash to work. Mine was unchecked after installng and unistalling Xvid. Checking 32-bit solved my problem running YouTube in Safari.
Uninstalling and re-installing Safari did not help. Clearing all prior settings did not help. Uninstalling and re-installing Flash did not help. It worked fine in Opera and Firefox. Just. Not. Safari.
Only solution I found was re-installing Snow Leopard.
I was very surprised to find that switching to 32 bit mode fixed the problem for me. I've tried everything else I can find. Surprised to find it was so hard to track down this fix. Thanks for those who posted this work-around!
