The bottom of my work on Pages is being cut off

I am new to pages and I am doing some homework for school so this is urgent.
When I finish typing at the bottom of the page then I start in the next column (I'm using a table in this instance but this has happened before without one) I scroll back down and half my text is cut off. I know it hasn't just been deleted because I can see the tops of the letters. I've tried full screen mode and it is still cut off.
Could anyone please give me some advice I need this done A.S.A.P.

Thanks

Dont' use tables for large text blocks. Tables in Pages don't split within a cell between pages. Use instead the word processing document and insert columns breaks, layout breaks, pages breaks for formatting the text.

You could split the text in several cells in the table. The table has to be inline in the document to slit row over several pages.

If you can write without using text boxes you have opened a word processing document. It will tell you if you read to the right of the document name.

To open a WP document open the the Template chooser in the File menu. Have a good look on the right column. You have Word Processing documents, Page Layout documents and My Template if you have save such a one.
