If you purchase from a dealer, you would have to ask that dealer about return policies, if any. You would not be able to return any such purchase directly to Apple; they will accept returns only on items purchased from the online Apple Store or a retail Apple Store.

I bought an iPod Touch 32gb from Best Buy,never open it,months ago,no receipt (lost it),can I return it to Apple Store for store credit?

No, as I said, the Apple Store will not accept a return of something purchased from another dealer, and would not accept a return even of something purchased from the Apple Store after "months". And after all this time I doubt that Best Buy would take it back either. You'll have to just sell the iPod yourself.

I called a Apple Store in Vegas, talked to a employee, promised to take my iPod Touch even if I bought it in Best Buy,went there 1 hour later, talked to the manager,he refused and never apologize for the employee's "mistake".Best Buy finally accepted my iPod Touch 32gb 3rd Generation without a receipt. This lady was so nice and gave me a gift card.Thank you!! Bad Apple Store!!
