Keyboard shortcut for Menu items with duplicate names?

Here is the next challenge 😀: what if both commands are in the same menu (as the German tranlation of "Middle" and "Center" in Keynote's "Arrange" menu)?

I am looking for this sollution in 10.6.8 too. I have: Format>Font>Baseline>Use Default in Numbers version 1.03 ( part of i Work 08) with cntrl, option,cmd, * as the key strokes for the key command and no luck any one have a solution for 10.6.8

It's also important that one writes the whole path; in my case it was Format>Font>Ligature>Use None

In Mountain Lion, use Format->Font->Basline->Use Default

This works in Mavericks by the way. I created a keyboard shortcut using "Mailbox->Move to Favorite Mailbox->Archive2013".

This old post of yours have saved me a ton of headaches as I was struggling with customized shortcuts. Thanks for the invaluable tip 🙂
