Crackling Noise During Music Playback after iOS 4.1 Update

Hey guys. Play music through my iPhone via USB in my Prius. Music has always been fine, but when i updated to 4.1, then started to play music in my car, i noticed a crackling noise during music playback. I thought maybe the speakers were blown, but there is no such sound when i play music CDs or pandora or anything other than the Mp3s. Is anyone having music playback issues after the 4.1 update???

Hello from germany,
i have the same Problems.
I have a JVC KD-R801 that worked with 3.13 with no problems.
The model was release in April 2010.
My Iphone is a 3GS and i upgraded to 4.01 and the radio start making strange things.Syncing to Playlist don`t function every time, Gliches in the Bluetooth stream and also over USB ..... totaly nerve me !
Yesterday it erases my Phonecalls history .....
JVC said to me to wait for an update maybe !! coming from them ..... hope so.
They said i should try to install 4.1 but don`t know if it will be more hassle as
in 4.01 .....
I`m realy angry about that problems ....
JVC sait "Works with iphone" and "Made for Ipod"
The gliches i have, beside the other errors, are "micro" gliches ... very short
but not ok ...... realy not.
My Iphone wake up radio (realy cheap) don`t make any errors and gliches.
It must be something in the communication over USB and Bluetooth.
Apple fix this, cause it runs for 100% in 3.13
Or also JVC .......
Best
Walter

The snap, crackle and pop noises are somewhat subsided if you connect the iPhone to the head unit and leave the iPod app open (ie. don't sleep the phone, don't switch out, etc.) for some reason.

On another note, Apple Bug Reports got more info from me regarding the Bluetooth / head unit issue I've been having. So it might be a big swack of goodness in 4.1.1 or 4.2.

Maybe Apple should just make their own car head unit...

OMG, I thought I was going crazy! I just got this Pioneer radio 2 weeks ago, and was great until I updated to 4.1. I've already reset AND restored my iPhone, neither of which works, btw. This issue is not limited to iPhone 4's either, as I have a 3GS. I don't have this issue in my Scion's factory radio with iPod connection (different car), but technically it's not iPhone compatible since it was made before iPhones (the system likes to remind me of that every time I plug it in, telling me that this unit doesn't support charging).

Also, @carebearwarrior, that doesn't work, I've tried it. It skips no matter what settings I have it programmed to. In fact, the first time I plugged in my phone after the update, it flipped back and forth between iPhone control and radio control, like it couldn't make up its mind. I thought it was weird, and it just went downhill from there.

I am LIVID. I only got to enjoy my radio for a week before Apple goes and screws it up! They better fix this bug fast.

I'm so upset with this 4.1 updated, I have the same problem with my JVC Car Receiver, I bougth this receiver just because my iPhone, and now it sounds like a 8 Track, my digital sound is gone. I call apple and they said that with any updated this could happen, that the 3er party ascesories have keep up with them. But I don't think that we should be suffering because apple updates. They have to do sometime asap, this is unaceptable.

Mr. Jobs, please release 4.1.1 ASAP with a solution to this issue.

Thanks!
