Apple TV Now showing movies and Tv Shows

is the appletv signed in to your itunes store account ?

Also located in Australia and am having the same problem My Movies & Trailers appears but not Genres, Top Movies, or Search

The TV show menus appear to be ok

Has got me stumped

Same here. My Movies and Trailers only - was about to rent my first movie but nothing. Very frustrated. TV Shows, Music menus are as normal.

I'm in Australia also.
Missing several Movie menu items including Search and Genres.
Can't watch a movie tonight!
Why do I have an Apple TV?!!!!

We have previously rented and bought movies with no problems from the Movie Menu , but I did notice last week that the "Genre" option had dropped off the Movie Menu - now all that is left is "My Movies" and "Trailers".

TV Rentals seem ok - although if you select Top TV shows it displays "Your Request could not becompleted"

I have have tried Factory restore a couple of times of the Apple TV , rebooted modem, loaded I Tunes 10.0 - and nothing has worked

I AM ALSO HAVING THIS SAME ISSUE! CAN SOMEONE FROM APPLE PLEASE HELP!?

Same issue here, cannot search movies anymore, cannot browse by genre, what gives?

Not going to be of much assistance sorry, but just wanted to chip in with the same issue. Sydney Australia, and since last night I can no longer see the options for movies. I can see the top movies along the top of the screen, but my only options are My Movies and Trailers.

When I try and go into the TV section, sometimes I can see the shows, but at other times it says that it can't connect.

Hopefully someone can let us know what's going on very soon.

I am another Australia (Adelaide) that can be added to the list effected by issue. Hopefully a solution is forthcoming.

It was announced today that Australia has been cut off from... just kidding. Let us know the outcome though please. Good luck.
