'ITunes Store is temporarily unavailable error" msg and unable to download

Went away for a couple of weeks, came back and tried to download my TV shows and app updates but every time i try i get an error saying "iTunes Store temporarily unavailable please try again later" Can purchase and download new music, shows and apps but cannot access my queued downloads. Just upgraded to iTunes 10 also - wondering if that is the issue ?

I too am having the same issues. I was downloading my series and new music. Shut down my computer one day and have been unable to download since. I have checked my firewalls, my account information, emptied my Safari Cache, everything suggested in all the help topics.
Still no luck. I am contacting tech support after this. I have 31 downloads that I can't access. If anyone come up with other ideas, please post here!
Good luck all

I had the same problem. It appears that the servers chuck a hissy fit if you don't download your purchases in a timely fashion. I used the 'report a problem' feature in my iTunes account to contact customer support via email. They replied about 24 hours later, reset my download cue and the problem has now been resolved.
Hope this helps you solve your issue.
