Fujitsu Scansnap 1500m and MacOS 10.6 update

I was scanning documents with my Fujitsu ScanSnap S1500m a few days ago, and whatever updates happened recently to MacOS are incompatible.

The scanner scans the paper, but ScanSnap quits unexpectedly every time beginning today.

I have been to fujitsu's site, uninstalled and re-installed everything including an update when MacOS 10.6 was released, but it still quits every time I try to scan.

Here was the place I got the updates. And I use the ScanSnap Manager software update function that also says everything is up to date.

Anyone else having the same problem? Anyone with a solution?

Received my new Fujitsu Scansnap 1500m yesterday. Installation was flawless. Installed software, installed update and that's it. In the evening I scanned approx. 150 documents both paper A4, plastic id cards etc. This is a perfect machine with great scan results.
I do not use the Adobe software as I dont see the benefits. I just use the ScanSnap manager software.
