You won't get a response as it states on the feedback page.
This is striclty a Microsoft issue as they do not follow open standards for calendars.
Hi everyone... I stumbled upon this post while searching for a solution. Anyone tried this?

I like how Chris CA blames this on Microsoft. Hmmm?
If it's Microsoft's problem, why did it work fine before iCloud? Hmmm?
You know not everyone owns only Apple products. Apple products should continue to be compatible with other products so that people who do use them for work can work with others who do not. I guess I'll just have to stay with a PC for work purposes until Apple figures this out!

Because Microsoft does not follow open standards for calendars.
For a significant majority of the world, Microsoft IS the standard. The change to the way iCloud handles calendar entries is the root of this issue.
Chris, There may be a standard but since Microsoft has been and is the most common email product in the business/smb/enterprise market Apple should address this, this has nothing to do with a standard and can be addressed in a patch update....Apple does not want to play in the business world they only market that way...as a Mac user for 10 years and converting my entire company over to Mac there have been many challenges just like this where something simple is not addressed. You want MS to change something that has been in place for over 20 years?!?! Get a grip on reality...funny how Outlook users can send a calendar invite to Mail and Calendar picks it up just fine...if it was the case of not being standard then why does Apple recognize it coming in and not address it going out...that is Apple's problem not MS!
3.5 years later...

No, Microsoft should address it and properly read calendar invites sent in open standards.
A standard is developed so data can easily be exchanged.
