Best stylus and note taking app?

There are some posts in the forum for using a stylus and note taking app for the iPad. Seems like everyone is using something different? I'd like to use them for writing notes as you would with a pen and paper. I don't want a stylus that you have to press really hard to use it.

Has anyone had good success for writing notes with a stylus and note taking app? Which ones?

Thanks very much. I had not noticed the dates on the posts. Glad you are still hanging in there. I'm new to the iPad and looking for tools for some research into connections between handwriting fluency and reading at the entry level.

Thanks again for the response. Do you know if a stylus is required, or could a child write with the pointer finger to add handwriting to a PDF?

Thanks Meg. With little ones, preschool & kindergarten, it is a big advantage to be able to learn to write the letters with the pointer finger. Once they know the movement process for the letters, it is much easier for them to learn how to hold the pencil/stylus properly.

Your response has aanswered the questions for both needs. Thanks very much.

Interesting information. I never knew that and wouldn't have guessed it to be the case.
