Best stylus and note taking app?
Has anyone had good success for writing notes with a stylus and note taking app? Which ones?

Thanks very much. I had not noticed the dates on the posts. Glad you are still hanging in there. I'm new to the iPad and looking for tools for some research into connections between handwriting fluency and reading at the entry level.
Thanks again for the response. Do you know if a stylus is required, or could a child write with the pointer finger to add handwriting to a PDF?

Yes, fingers will work anywhere a sylus will (really the other way around: stylii work where fingers do).
Thanks Meg. With little ones, preschool & kindergarten, it is a big advantage to be able to learn to write the letters with the pointer finger. Once they know the movement process for the letters, it is much easier for them to learn how to hold the pencil/stylus properly.
Your response has aanswered the questions for both needs. Thanks very much.

Interesting information. I never knew that and wouldn't have guessed it to be the case.
Hi- I am interested in taking notes using the trackpad on my MAc Air. I am a therapist, and I would like to stop using paper, and duplicating my handwritten notes in text. I am trying to find help with Inklet (I am finding it very challenging), or an alternative to Inklet for Mac OSX. Any suggestions?
You question is a bit off topic to this thread since you are inquiring about using Mac OS X and the track pad (this is an iPad forum). You might get better results on the Mac Air forum.
