Screen very yellow tone

Hello, I tell us.
I have the iphone 4 and not if will be my obsession or it is that it has the screen as with a yellowish tone.
They are not spots, it is not specific of the screen, but it is the tone in if of the whole screen anywhere. It is like yellowish. I have lowered, raised the sheen, removed the automatic sheen and it is still equal.
I have compared it with the screens of an iphone 2g and 3g and the difference is abysmal.
The iphone 2g and 3g they have the screens more clear, a color more alive, and the iphone 4, though one sees better for the retina display, it is a yellowish color on the whole screen.
It is like that really or is a fault?.
Have your iPhone 4 this tone more yellow than 3G or 3GS?.

Thanks, a greeting from Spain.

If you are talking about the yellow tint that can be seen on plain white? or is this from taking pictures?

If it's the yellow tint that is visible on plain white background, i.e blank page on safari, then most likely you will be seeing the adhesive that hasn't fully dried yet from the production line. Most suggest that you use it for a week and see if it dries out as it should. If not take it to your local apple store and see what they can do because normally they will tell you to use it at least a week and see if it disappears, if not they should give you a replacement.

They are not yellow spots and not be in a part of the screen.
It is the tone in general of the whole screen that seems more yellowish.
If I compare it with the screen of my iphone 3G or with the screen of another iphone 2G, the screen of the iphone 4 has a tone more hotly, more yellow.
That of the iphone 3G and 2G is more clear, alive, bluish.
But I repeat that they are not spots.
If someone has an iphone 4 and one 3G or 3GS if it is possible that it does the comparison to seeing if the screen of the iphone 4 is seen more yellowish.
The same thing is like that and does not treat itself about a failure.

You are confusing yellow tinted screens with yellow spots.

Well if you said you use a screen protector then it could be that when in a low setting.

Have you tried taking off the screen protector and see if it's the screen protector issue or the LCD itself?

Try taking off the screen protector, set the brightness to low and see if you still get the yellow effect. If it is yellow after taking off the Screen protector, then it's the LCD, and you probably want to get it replaced.

As for me, I moved away from powersupport and went to SGP Ultra-Oleophobic and so far it's good, have tested in a low brightness, and high brightness and both at no problem.

Well, you did mention the possibility that it could be the screen protector that could cause the screen to have a yellowish tone, and the fact that you said in a low brightness. So did you remove the screen protector? After removing the screen protector (this will not destroy the screen nor the oleophobic coating, unless it was something very very sticky), is the yellow tone gone? Or is it still there? If it is still there, then go get it replaced.

Anyways, Apple gets the LCD from I think LG or from Samsung (but I think it's mostsly LG). They don't make the screen to be yellowish. Apple only has one and only one color in places where it's white (safair, music, mail, sms, phone, you get the idea). They do apply the adhesive glue to the LCD to adhere to the glass, which can take some time to dry up.
