iPhone 4 wireless network connects to my neighbors networks but not mine :(

I bought this phone last week. It seem to have connected to my brothers network fine but when I brought this to my home, it will not connect to my wireless network. Strangely it seem to "connect" with all of my neighbors networks. I type in my password for their network and voula it gives me a check mark next to the network. Another network shows up I type in my password and connected to that network as well. I however, cannot connect to my network.

I have 2 iPods, 1 iPhone 3G, two computers connected to the network so I know it is not the network router. I approached the Apple store after an appointment and that guy says I am connected to the apple wireless network so there is no issue. His diagnostics doesn't show any issues it seems. When I returned to my house, same issue. When I look at my wireless network on iPhone4, it says I am connected to my neighbors network!!!! But the top displays 3G not the usual wireless icon/sign.

I am at a point where I am frustrated and going to return the device and stick with 3G. Anyone facing a similar issue?

Toshiba, Windows 7

Me either Alan. Both our iP4 phones have great coverage with WiFi. One thing I think was missed in the OPs opening post. He said he could connect to other WiFI networks, but still has the 3G sign. Of course this means he is not connecting to the other networks in his range for if he was connected, he'd have the WiFi sign.

OP: When you set up your WiFi connection for you iP4, did you input the correct password to your network? One digit or letter off and it simply won't connect correctly. And like Alan suggested, you might want to set it up more securely (not WEP).

he also said he was entering the wrong password which wouldnt allow him to connect anyway in turn wouldnt bring up the wi-fi symbol. The apple store genius tested it to be working properly
