Hairline cracks in black antenna cover on iPad 3G

I had what I think was a very helpful discussion this morning with a senior customer service person at Apple.

I will update here once my situation is resolved one way or another.

PROBLEM SOLVED!

Thanks to great customer service from Andrew on the phone and Pedro at the Genius Bar, my problem was resolved.

They swapped out my damaged iPad for a fully whole and functional iPad, confirmed the software was updated and my restoration was good and sent me on my way.

I'm happy to report that, ultimately, the quality of Apple's customer service matched the quality of their product.
