How to block quote-

Good evening.

I'm working on a research paper and I need to do the standard block quote proceedure. The problem is, I can't find this option in Pages' Inspector. How does one make this happen? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello LindsaminJean,

welcome to the Pages Discussions. The best way for me is to insert a text box as an inline object.

If you don't know how to do that: 1) Select the menu item "Insert/Text" (with inactive text, only then you are allowed to insert one). 2) Activate the radio button "Moves with text" in the "Wrap" inspector of the infopalette. 3) Activate the checkbox "Object causes wrap" in the same inspector.

Now you can adjust the text style and the appearance ot the quote inside the normal text by adjusting the text box "wrap", the "Insert margin" in the "Text" inspector and a lot more.

Frank.
