Does 1 year Apple warranty transfer to new owner if iPod is sold? Help

Hi, I'm selling my iPod Touch 3G on e-Bay. It was just purchased 2 months ago. I registered it online when I first started using iTunes. Does the 1 year Apple warranty transfer to the new owner or is it tied to the original purchaser? Will they just be able to re-register it or do I have to somehow un-register it and how? Would they need my original purchase receipt to get warranty service for it. I really don't want to give them my receipt since it has my personal info on it. Please help. I want to list it on e-Bay tonight but don't want to screw up since I'm advertising that it still has 9+ months of warranty coverage. Thanks
