Daylight savings change and alarm issue

I noticed when daylight savings came in the phone had updated the time to an hour forward as it should. But this morning my alarm woke me an hour early at 5:15am instead of 6:15am. I checked the setting and it WAS set for 6:15am! Now yesterday I also updated from I think 4.0.1 to 4.1 so unsure if it was the daylight savings change or the update that has made my alarm change as this is the first working day since both.

So, any ideas or others with the same trouble?

Hi there,

Follow the thread I have just submitted, it explains how to fix your predicament, also tested it and the fix works..... Apples neglected to say in their fix that the old setting needed to be deleted and a new one set up... had to find it out from a web page in the Daily Mail....lol

Oh, the fix does work, tested it at nine oclock, and worked a treat.

Hope it helps

Kind regards

Well even if, as you said, it was a US programmer, it was probably even dumber than that: I live in Montreal with the same DST as the EST US time zone and guess what happened to me this morning: my alarm went off one hour late... (yes, it was programmed for weekdays only).

I'm surprised there isn't a class action suit against Apple on this subject: how many people got late a work, missed a plane, etc. because of this bug that has been known for around 3 weeks now (if I read correctly the news). This must represent a **** big amount of lost $!

Surely this doesn't improve Apple's image (remember the "paste" password issue that took 3 or 4 OS update before being fixed...)
