Daylight savings change and alarm issue

I noticed when daylight savings came in the phone had updated the time to an hour forward as it should. But this morning my alarm woke me an hour early at 5:15am instead of 6:15am. I checked the setting and it WAS set for 6:15am! Now yesterday I also updated from I think 4.0.1 to 4.1 so unsure if it was the daylight savings change or the update that has made my alarm change as this is the first working day since both.

So, any ideas or others with the same trouble?

I'm also having the same issue. Has anyone tried disabling the alarm and re-enabling it? maybe its just storing the time wrong?

I'm also having the same problem. I'm in Melbourne, Australia.

I've tried disabling and re-enabling each alarm, turning the iPhone on/off before and after redoing the alarms and I still get the recurring alarms going 1 hour early, and the nonrecurring alarms going off at the correct time. I just have to re-enable them again each day.

It would be great for Apple to release a quicker fix then November. I have no doubt they will probably do this.

It's started this morning in Melbourne, when i set my alarm at 7am and it went off at 6am under iOS 4.1

Yeah this is very annoying. I read about it on TUAW as one of their writers is in NZ and found out about this bug before the rest of us when they went to DST. http://www.tuaw.com/2010/09/26/ios-alarms-broken-for-new-zealand-users-after-day light-savings/

SAme problem in melbourne following change to daylight savings. All alarms going off 1 hour earlier.

deleted all alarms and then reinput new ones and still smae problems.

Where is the fix apple?

Same Problem when daylight saving ended in Egypt - my iPhone 3GS running OS 4.1 rings 1 hour late when I have the repeat option on. This is just stupid. Apple needs to get it together.

Goodness.. i too live in Melbourne and woke up in fright!... I really bumped, i only just got an iphone and i'm already experience way too many "iphone" or mac probs.. if it was my mac pro with faulty parts.. now my iphone.... i really am not having much luck in the world of apple!!

Getting the same thing here - Melbourne Australia.

Setting your alarm not to repeat seems to work ok though

Same problem here in Sydney this morning, as if getting up earlier due to DST wasnt difficult enough, getting the 5am alarm from iPhone was the worst!!!

I can't believe this has affected other regions weeks ago and nothing done.

The DLS offset is wrong. This became clear when DLS began here. The fix is simple. Yet I'm still using a third party timekeeping product on my highly expensive smart-phone. I have to wonder why.
