Is there a way to right click on dock pop up menu?

I want to know away to right click on the big thumbnails on my my Pictures' folder in order to open files in photoshop, without opening the folder in Finder. Please let me know if there is a way. Because clicking on the thumbnails will only allow me to open them in Preview. I don't want to open finder then open them in photoshop. Thanks.

macbook pro, Mac OS X (10.6.4)

In the Finder, select one of the images you want to open in photoshop. Select Get Info (cmd+i) and in the Open With section, select Photoshop from the popup menu and then click on Change All...

That's not what I want to do. I don't want to have all images open default in photoshop.

Wow, I tried a bunch of different ways and I can't find any way to accomplish exactly what you want.

The closest I could get is this: If your Photoshop icon is in the Dock, you can drag the picture directly from the popped open Dock folder to the Photoshop icon and that will bypass the Finder.

Actually what I really want to do is to edit a file (right click) after right-clicking on a folder in the dock. Those files are not editable or draggable at all, anyone know how to do this?
