Choose About this Mac from the Apple menu, click More Info, and look at the Disc Burning section. All the disk types burnable on the drive are listed here.

Write Strategies: CD-TAO, CD-SAO, CD-Raw, DVD-DAO
Media: To show the available burn speeds, insert a disc and choose View > Refresh


You can verify this on your machine by clicking the apple logo on the menu bar and selecting "about this Mac". On the next screen select "more info" tab.

On the new screen look at the left column under hardware and select "disc Burning" This will show all your drives capabilities.

oone more question, im using a window keyboard. the response time is slow or double types. itss wireless too.

When/if you do repost, tell us what kind of keyboard and whether it is bluetooth or uses a usb adapter. Also, how far are you from the Mini and what obstacles are in between.
