need to create a AVI with XVID MPEG-4, - how ?

I need to export it in this format:
XVID ISO MPEG-4 Compressor.

What program will convert my avi into an avi (mp4) ?

2x2.8Ghz Quad-core Intel Xeon, 8GB RAM, Final Cut Studio 2, Mac OS X (10.5.1), Photoshop CS3 extended. Spectrum 48k.

What have you tried up to now? Visit to the source site indicates to me that, even as an open source codec, it's dead, dead, dead.

The downloads indicate development stopped in 2008 or so and there is no Macintosh version.
Period.
You can use the Linux version if you can use Terminal.

So you need a PC.
