Powerbook G4 charger specifications ?

Hello guys, I have a Powerbook G4 12'' 1.5 GHz, my charger stopped working, currently im living in Brazil so it wasn't that easy to find a new charger for this model so I bought a new one from Ebay here is the link:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=330470771539

My question is regarding the voltage and watt:

Voltage : 24V
Amp : 1.875A
Watt : 45W
Input : 100-240V ~ 1.2A 50/60 Hz

It says on the website that my model (Apple PowerBook G4 12-inch DVI) is compatible with this charger but my question is ... I know there's more models to this ... im currently using this new charger, its working well, but I dont know if it could be harming my laptop ... so if you guys could help me I would appreciate it ... my email is johncruzbrazil@gmail.com thanks

Welcome to Apple Discussions!

Not sure what brand this is, but here is a link to an original Apple power adaptor:

The voltage and amperage seem to be comparable for what that's worth. Don't know if yours has a grounding pin or not--the Apple adaptor does have a long cord you can attach that does have a grounding pin, which could be desirable. I've seen some aftermarket chargers that have only 2 pins.

Hope this helps!

Good luck!
