Transfer itunes U materials from ipad to itunes library

Hi,

I have downloaded lots of itunes U materials from ipad.
How do I get them copied to the library in my itunes on my PC?
I am afraid sync them will wipe out all I have on the Ipad.

Appreciate any help.

I would like to first have a better understanding of how this is actually suppose to work before I too jump in and say that is not syncing from my iOS devices to my iTunes desktop application as I would want.

First I am able to add a course or a collection to either my iPad Air 2 or my iPhone 6 and have the course/collection then automatically sync to the other device. So if I add a course to my iPad it will automatically show up to my iPhone, good! Then, when I check off completion of a post, or add a note to a video lecture, that data too will be synced to the other iOS device that I own. Again, this is great and what I would hope to have happen.

Now what I am unsure of, but would like to have as well, is to have all this data in sync on my MacBook Pro as well. The idea being that I could pickup where I left off with a course from my iPad now on my Macbook. I want to see the courses that I have subscribed to and all my notes and any checked off activity and want it all to stay in sync across all my Apple products.

So is this behavior suppose to happen? I have not been able to figure that out for sure and do not see any way to take notes on my MacBook like you can with the iPad or iPhone iTunes U apps.

Extract app data in ios 9

In ios 9 we can’t really backup apps and their data. This very simple guide will show you how to backup or extract data from an ios9 device. You can use this to extract videos from iTunes U, etc. and files of many other app. This guide is currently tested only in windows and not on a Mac. But you can try the same.

Prerequisites:

  1. 1. iBrowse from Macroplant LLC(http://download.cnet.com/iBrowse/3000-18546_4-76009297.html)
  2. 2. iTunes

Procedure:

Step1: Backup your ios devices using iTunes.

Step 2: Now disconnect your device and open iBrowse.

Step 3: Click on browse local iTunes backup. Then click again on local iTunes backup folder and then your backup folder.

Step 4: Find the app folder whose data you want to extract it usually starts with AppDomain. For extracting iTunes U files the folder name is ”AppDomain-com.apple.itunesu”.

Step 5: Right click on the folder and select export. Choose your desired location.

Voila! Your app data is extracted. Enjoy.
