voice memos not showing up in itunes

I have multiple problems with my iPhone 4S:

1. I can see nothing on the screen barring some occasional blue, red and white lines when I press the Home button

2. Power button is broken

3. iTunes won't sync voice memos.

I had precious voice memos that I had lost hope of recovering and yes, I was desperate. I too tried everything else on this post (that I could manage with the above-mentioned problems) but nope...nothing.

I found out about http://downloads.ecamm.com/PhoneView.zip from somewhere else and was waiting for it to download when I found this post. This worked perfectly.

It looks like Apple has solved the problem. My voice memo's are allways synced now, even when I forget not to use spaces. Is it iOS 8.4? I guess, it's the only thing that's changed here. But they've solved it too well: after every sync iTunes reports that it hasn't been able to sync the 22 voice mails that have been deleted on my iPhone as well as in iTunes on the Mac. Even after a hard reset of the iPhone and a restart of the Mac the reports keep coming. Looks like the bug is still there somehow.

OMG:). I know this thread is old but this has been my experience over the last 2 days: I've spent 6+ hours with them on the phone; I'm self-employed. Perhaps I ought to be charging them *my* hourly rate:).

So remind me again why i bought an Apple? I can't believe what a grind it is to operate in this system. I am having the same problem as many other people and in my mind, if I pay top dollar for a piece of equipment it should work. Why hasn't apple fixed this problem?

Today I experienced the same thing. I have recorded a phone conversation on my iPhone4 and trying to pull that to my Windows 10 PC but at a glance without syncing I was not able to see those in my iTunes 12.5.2.36. However, after doing a sync with Include voice memos checked I was able to see them and play them in iTunes. Hope, this helps to those who experience the same issue.

In my case I do not wanted to sync anything else therefore, I selected the Selected playlist,... and checked for both Include Videos and Include voice memos. Even though I was not interested in Videos. But it worked!

I had this problem, read the complete thread and nothing suggested was useful. I decided to try apple support and i got lucky with the guy that helped me (it took 2 hours in the phone tho). I was trying to copy my voice notes from an iphone4 to a mac. He explained that the software versions for iphone4 only get to some 7.something because of the hardware limitations and newer versions are already 10.0 or 12.0 so it is the incompatibility between software versions that make this sometimes a bit tricky, or even impossible. I had to do several security copies and then i ran the copy in my iphone5 which is capable of having the newer software version. then i could finally transfer all of them to my iphone5 first and then synced it to itunes successfully. I am so OVER this voice memo b@#$s@#T saga! Can one thing actually work on this stupid phone. I'm so sick of the constant intermitent & ever changing issues/problems that I'm ready to join everyone else & switch to android. so over it!! It just isn't worth the heartache anymore. none of these solutions have made any difference & whats even more hilarious is that not only do my voice memo's not appear in itunes anywhere...but even the file that stores them on my drive is incomplete. ...how is this even possible when i can see them on my phone?

How is it possible that each problem encountered on these stupid phones has 10 different errors or ways that it behaves for the same problem? Not even the errors are consistent. How does the user even begin to troubleshoot something like that? one day it works, the next day it half works, the next day it wipes everything, then it sync's one file, then it half works again, then it deletes itself altogether. ***?

Lift your game Apple.....this isn't good enough!!!! We're all sick of your half-@ssed products! 😠 😠 😠
