mail not sent from Ipad

Dear Forum.

Klaus is my name and my English ist not the best but will do my best.

Problem: Ipad is receiving mails successfully but when I answer mails or sending new mails they never went out. Ipad is working and working and a popup window tells me that mails are not sent they are still stored in draft folder. that's it

Do you have any suggestion?

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.5.8), working with Ipad

Your outgoing SMTP mail server is probably not configured correctly.

I am having the same problems sending from my iPad the settings are the same as on my mac but it won't send with my dads iPhone and my iPad. We use orange broadband in Uk....????? Any help please

Hi,
I hava the same problem when I am connected in Wifi but not in 3G.

That all depends on the email policies in place from the provider at the root of the wi fi connection. Some don't allow SMTP forwarding to reduce spam.
