Green bar on screen & photos

For the past two weeks a green bar down the right hand side of the screen and photographs has started to appear. It is present on screen when taking a photograph and it also shows on the photograph taken.

I have had the iP4 since mid-August without any problems. This odd glitch has started in the past couple of weeks.
