I have no idea and what do you mean you won't get your apps back?

If all apps that were on your iPhone are in your iTunes library library on your computer where they should be along with all other iTunes content that was on your iPhone, you can re-install the apps on your iPhone but you can get the apps back regardless by re-downloading the apps with iTunes on your computer. You won't be charged again for a purchased app as long as you use the same iTunes account to re-download the app that was used to purchase the app originally. You can check your purchase history for your iTunes account with iTunes which will include all free and paid apps you previously downloaded.

The only reason you won't get your apps backup is because you are unwilling to re-download the apps, and if you can barely remember any of them, you obviously didn't use any of them very often if at all, so it makes no difference.

I have a similar problem, but I don't think it will be as easy as what has been described here to get my apps back.

Last week, when I synced my iPhone to this computer, it did the iTune update, and then it indicated that there was a new operating system for my iPhone.

I decided to go ahead and install the new OS. Unfortunately, about half-way through, it froze up on me--to the point where I couldn't turn the phone on/off or anything.

I took the phone into an AT&T store--hoping they'd be able to help me. By then, I was finally able to get to the point where I could plug my phone in AND actually have it tell me that I needed to continue the upgrade. Initially, the woman I dealt with at the store thought my phone was fried.

So I installed the new operating system, but it wiped out everything on my iPhone.

I tried to find my apps in my iTunes, but it seems as if all of the backing up I thought I was doing--well, it seems like it didn't take. I cannot find these apps.

I tried to follow the link for reinstalling my apps I paid for via the link in one of the previous posts, but I never saw the message that said I had already paid for this, are you sure you want to download again.

I have the e-mails that show I've paid for the apps. I really hate the idea that if I want to get these apps back, I'll have to pay for them again.

Is there any way I can submit proof of payment? Or do I have to pay again?
