Current version: JDK 6 Update 22
Mac OS version: Java SE 6 1.6.0_20

From ZDnet security :
Oracle has issued a massive Java SE and Java for Business update to fix 29 security vulnerabilities that could be exploited to take complete control of vulnerable computers.

According to Oracle, 28 of these vulnerabilities could be remotely exploitable without authentication (over a network without the need for a username and password). The patches are available for Windows, Linux and Solaris users.

Apple’s Mac OS X is also vulnerable but security updates for that operating system is usually delayed for several months.

You can use use this link to run a quick scan to determine whether the Java environment installation on your machine is up to date.

Please note that Java and JavaScript are not the same thing, despite the unfortunate similarity in names. What you are posting is information about Java on your Mac. JavaScript is a scripting language built into web browsers, and so is something completely different from Java. Most web sites use JavaScript to generate comments sections, not Java, so you may be asking about the wrong thing.

Disqus' demo site works fine for me with Safari 5.02. What web browser are you using?

Regards.

Very odd. I presume you've tried the normal steps of clearing the browser cache and cookies?

If so and that hasn't helped, do you have any sort of ad blocker installed, either as a Safari/Firefox extension/add on or as a system addon such as GlimmerBlocker?
