Oct 20, 2010 5:11 PM in response to msilgalisby sungyle,Me too. Does anyone know why? Is there a limit to the number of albums one is allowed on Apple TV? I have 29 Album but the list is only showing 19+2 non-album items. Can somebody please enlighten me? -
Oct 20, 2010 5:35 PM in response to msilgalisby cvillemac,I have a similar problem with uploaded photos. All the photos will show up when I look through them, but when I run the slide show, it will only show what seems like a specific time frame of photos and not all the photos. -
Oct 22, 2010 12:32 PM in response to msilgalisby montgome,Had same issues as others. Have an album in iPhoto that I would like to sync with the apple tv. It only shows the first 100 pics or so even though I have about 11,000 pics in the album. Help!

Oct 22, 2010 3:55 PM in response to msilgalisby msilgalis,Not sure what happened, but now it seems to be working fine. I certainly didn't change anything. Anyone else have an improvement? -
Oct 22, 2010 4:07 PM in response to msilgalisby vetoche,I am having the same problem. The random photos simply loops in the same set of pictures. Has anyone been able to fix this? I think it is a bug in the new Apple TV software. -
Oct 22, 2010 6:59 PM in response to vetocheby jwcosta,I have a slightly different problem, in that the screen saver only streams my iPhoto photos for a minute or two, and then stops. I tried to stream my photos as a screen saver while streaming songs from my iTunes library. The photo stream didn't even make it through one song and then stopped. Anyone having this problem? -
Oct 24, 2010 12:02 PM in response to msilgalisby Leslie Turek,I'm having the same problem. I have a photo album of about 400 photos and I'm just getting a subset of them displayed in the screen saver. Very disappointing. My guess is that there's limited storage space on the device, so it just selects a random subset to download until the space is filled. I tried going into settings and selecting the same album again and I did get a different subset the second time. But after a few minutes the screen went black and the photos stopped scrolling. Bummer. -
Oct 25, 2010 8:59 AM in response to msilgalisby James Harlin,This is sooo disappointing
My favorite thing about the AppleTV was how beautifully is showed photos on the screen saver. Having only a few hundred photos in a screen saver is very boring as within a few minutes you've seen them all and you just feel like turning it off.
I used to leave the screen saver on all the time when friends and family would visit. Its because of seeing the screen saver at my place that many of my friends bought an AppleTV over the last few years.
Please, please Apple try to sort this one out.....please. -

Oct 29, 2010 3:22 PM in response to msilgalisby James Harlin, how did you get it to work. I can not get the screen saver to use more than about 100 photos. -

In addition to only seeing a fraction of the photos selected appear during a Screensaver sequence, I have also noticed the Screensaver reverts back to the "Animals" photoset on it's own. I'm still reading through other posts on that one, but yeah, the limit on the number of photos in a screensaver is weird. -
Nov 1, 2010 3:41 PM in response to msilgalisby James Harlin,I really hope they find a workaround too. I have also had issues with it going back to the animals screensaver. -
Nov 19, 2010 12:43 AM in response to msilgalisby aschmid,Same issue. Even though all photos library selected in Settings only a subset of photos is shown over and over again instead of the whole photo library. It seems to be the more recent ones.
Anybody has any fix for this? -
Nov 20, 2010 12:52 PM in response to msilgalisby Sean Hunter,Hi...I am having the exact same problem, with a very limited subset of pictures showing in the Apple TV 2 screensaver. All of my software (iTunes, Snow Leopard) is completely up to date...I tried fooling the system by duplicating the album I am using (of 642 pics) and selecting the new album, but to no avail. This thread is listed as "Answered" when it clearly isn't. Has anyone found a solution? Apple, if you are monitoring this thread, this is an extremely irritating issue. Help! Thanks.
