Can't send photos from my iPad - baffled

Ok I am a pretty experienced Mac user and have had the iPad since day one. Maybe I'm missing something here but I cannot send a photo either through photo or copying the photo and pasting in mail.

The mail seems to go through as I hear the typical woos sound from mail as it is being sent. Problem is it's never received by the recipient. Even when I cc myself nothing.

I have tried different size photos so that's not it. I can't figure it out and it's getting frustrating. I was surprised to see no other topics on the matter so I must be missing something.

Just came across this question and although it's old, I found a solution that might be helpful. If I emailed photos from my ipad to myself, the emails did not appear in the In box on my laptop. However, they DID appear in my In box on my ipad. So what I did was I opened the emails on my ipad, forwarded them to myself, and they then appeared in my In box on my laptop. I don't know why this is, but I hope it helps someone.

Hi Chris,

From the home screen double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, , and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.

If that doesn't work then you could try a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

close the apps and photos fully, double click home button so that task bar appears, press & hold any one apps

for some time and they will begin shake, - symbol will be there - is for closing . so close it and press home button again to stop shaking.

or press and hold home&sleep button for some time and the ipad will shut down and restart , this is equal to

restart . do not worry your content will be there.

now you can send photos

I Want to thank you because I have tried Apple helpline all night and did what was suggested and had no luck sending my photos.. However when I did what you suggested about changed password I did it and works great. Thank you again. I wish you were the first suggestion so I would of not spent hours trying to find out the problem with nothing working. Thank you again!!!!!!!
