Everytime I try to start facetime its throws me this error "An internal Facetime error occurred" has anyone else run into this or even have a fix?

I got facetime working on a friend's computer, after he got the error message to quit and restart, and tried downloading and installing the program several times to no avail. I used the method described earlier in this thread. Here are more tips and details:

use the control click command to click on the facetime app icon in your application folder

open the "launch agent" folder and look for two specific icons out of the several that may or not be in the folder. These end in apsd-ft.plist, and imagent.plist

copy them to your desktop using option click and drag. don't remove the copies already in the folder

close the contents window and navigate to your user account and open the library folder.

Inside the library folder locate the launch agents folder (this is a different launch agents folder than the one that you just copied the plist files out of.

When I opened the launch folder in the user account, it was empty. I took the two plist files that I had copied to the desktop and moved them into this folder (this required an administrative password)

I clicked on facetime and it now opened and worked perfectly
