Javascript error

Hi
I am fairly new to the world of MAC's and I am having a little trouble trying to find a solution the the problem below:

'Face Time can't be installed on this disc. An error occurred while evaluating JavaScript for the package'

After doing some searching I believe it isn't necessarily a problem that Face Time is causing but it may be an error that occurs with other programs.
Is there anyone that could help?
I have tried installing a java update and get the same error message, I am stumped.

Wayne

Welcome to Discussions, Wayne (jober_jober)

If you're still having trouble, applying the Mac OS X 10.6.5 Combo Update might
resolve your problem. Unless you prefer a different update method, use this one:

  • Backup your Mac and turn off Time Machine

  • Disconnect peripherals and restart Mac

  • Use Disk Utility to repair permissions

  • Download and install http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1324

  • Repair permissions again immediately following the restart that finishes the update.

  • Try to install and test FaceTime

(• Turn Time Machine on again when you are satisfied that the update worked.)
