AIR and SKYPE Not Working

I can not log on SKYPE on my MBA 1.8 . Works fine on my MACBOOK PRO, but not on AIR.

I did a search on the topic , and seems that is an issue with SKYPE and AIR, and I can not find the solution so far. Even tried an old SKYPE version, and so far no luck.

Any suggestions, will be welcome.

That suggestion on the Skype forum worked for me on my wife's new MBAir 11" -- and I was even able to then update to the latest version of Skype (from within the app's update mechanism) and it continues to work as it should. Weird, but glad to see it, she's got family & friends overseas so it was a real bummer when Skype wouldn't load...

Worked Solution:

1) Move SKYPE app from Applications to trash folder.
2) Delete the file User/Library/Preferences/com.skype.skype.plist
3) Delete the folder User/Library/Application Support/Skype
4) Delete the file Macintosh HD:Library/Preferences/com.skype.skype.plist (if that file does not exist, never mind).
5) Download and install SKYPE 2.7.0.330 from http://mac.oldapps.com/skype.php
6) * IMPORTANT : Go to preferences and change the port from 0 to 8253, for example.

7) Be happy !

8) I did not try to update after that, but another user said that worked. Otherwise just use the "old" version from now.
