Embed Album Artwork in MP3's

Anyone know a quick way to do this? I recently became disheartened when I found out that iTunes was not adding the artwork to the files, so if I move them the artwork will not travel.

Also, when changing song info, will it also change the tag of the MP3, so that a different player will read it correctly?

if you use the iTunes Get Album Artwork feature, it does not embed in the file, as you apparently noticed. If you want the file embedded in the file, find the artwork on the Web. Right-click the track in iTunes, Get Info, and paste it into the Artwork tab, then OK.

Also, if you use Get Info to change Artist, Album ,Year, etc, the info will get written to the file when you OK out, and thus will be there when you play the file elsewhere.

Misled by the Mac OS X in your signature....

I've written a script called CreateFolderArt which does the job for Windows. Just select a bunch of tracks and call the script. It can update the Folder.jpg images typically stored along with the files with any downloaded-only artwork and will then embed any newly created art into files in the same folder that have none or are linked to a downloaded image.
