My garageband worked fine till I tried to install some Jam Packs because the info side panel/master track/browse/jam pack were all empty (?) ...

I tried re-installing but the installers always crashed during the installation, I force quit the installer the last time and tried to restart. I couldnt restart, I had to pull the plug.

When I restarted, I launched Garageband and it came up with 3 annoying 'registry' errors and tried to endlessly initialise. Then I just clicked on the application icon and it went straight to garageband. App seemed to work fine.

I just hate annoying error messages, so I looked into fixing the problem. I discovered (from previous posts here) removing the AmpliTube 3 plug ins inside the Library/audio/plug-ins/components and VST did the job nicley.

Back to my original problem ... do I have all jam packs?

I just got mainstage for $30 and the additional content are the Jampacks ... problem solved ... I hope!

Thanks for the advise, same problem here. I had a bunch of .component files related to the T-Racks CS VST....I deleted all of them and then put them back a few at a time, it turns out theres 29 of them which cause the error with GB. Of course the VST has now lost a lot of its components but it was a free bundle with Fishman Tripleplay which I've never used so no loss.

Glad its sorted!
