Looks like no one’s replied in a while. To start the conversation again, simply ask a new question.

i accidently dropped my iphone in the bath about 6 weeks ago

but changed the screen as the backlight wasnt working but now it constantly does the voice control when havnt pressed downg,the home button and it scrolls from page and it just does its own thing really..just bought a new digitizer and doesnt seem to of fixed it,my friend thinks that if i put a software on it then it will stop what it is doing..can someone please advice me?

Doubtful if anyone here can tell you what hardware is damaged or exactly where the problem lies with the hardware without seeing the iPhone and having been with you while the iPhone was opened and the other hardware that has been replaced was replaced.

What software? Software cannot fix a hardware problem or hardware damage.

If you haven't tried restoring the OS on the iPhone, try that. It's a long shot, but it's possible that the problems you're experiencing are coincidental with the water damage rather than being a problem with the iPhone's hardware, though I doubt it.

If restoring doesn't fix the problem, then it's almost certainly hardware failure. Apple will replace your damaged iPhone for £146.29. If you can't afford even that, you can try one of the several third-party repair shops, but I doubt that their charge will be much lower.

all i have done is update the phone upto 0S so i will try this as soon as my phone comes back tonight
