All,
Does anybody know of a reliable way to this? Any good programs come to mind that does this?

Thanks

I have a similar problem that has been discussed above. Accidentally deleted all SMS's while phone was on and in pocket. I plugged in to iTunes, and it started auto syncing. From what some have said above (I think Allan mentioned it), it appears that the phone auto-syncing backed up the phone without the deleted messages. I saw a discussion that if it didn't auto sync, you could back up and immediately restore and bring the deleted SMS's "back to life." I do have back-ups from the past month or two, and I'm wondering if I can restore the deleted SMS's by restoring from a back-up point prior to accidentally deleting - or are those back-up points obsolete now? Some people on this or another discussion recommended a program to download that seemed to allow you to go back to those prior back-up points and see what SMS's are in them?

Any help would be appreciated!

If you are going to backup phone And restore from same backup file yes they will all come back as it was. But just texts won't be able to.

I had a lot of MMS texts with my GF. I used the Decipher program to save them to my iMac. I doubled checked the folder I saved them to and they were all there. Ater I deleted them from my 4s my "other" went from 3.17 down to 1.67. A nice surprise was that the program also found texts that I tought were gone from my old 3g. The program cost $19.95, you have to decide if its worth it for you.

Usually, iTunes will automatially backup your iPhone when you sync with iTunes. If you have the backup, then you can recover deleted sms messages on the iPhone 4 will be easily:

Here are the steps:
Click the "File" menu and select "Devices" > "Restore from Back up".
Or
Open the iOS device's "Summary" tab. There are two ways to access this:
Click the device button in the upper right corner. (If viewing the iTunes Store, click the Library button in the upper right corner. The device button will then be visible.)
From any view in iTunes, click the "View" menu and select "Show Sidebar". Select your iOS device in iTunes under "Devices:.
Click the "Restore Backup" button.

Hello,

So does anyone have any solutions for restoring SMS back to iPhone since IOS 7 AND able to use it?

Earlier attempts that failed:

Wondershare

Diskaid(cons your money. don't buy from them)

I tried the iBackupBot and even though now I have an intact phone with all my SMS in one place, I can't send out any SMS at all. In other words, the SMS function is useless. I tried using Wondershare and the same would result. I've heard the earlier result of using iphonebrowser to change the settings, but I haven't try it yet and would like to know if this method works or not before I go through the pains of installing and doing this and that (I've been doing this for almost a week and a half and I'm extremely exhausted mentally when dealing with this.)

Finally, my iphone is not jailbroken yet. Can ios7 be jailbroken at this time?

Unfortunately I don't have a valid backup, because of a mistake using iBackupBot; all the attachements got scrambled. BUT I have iMessage on my Mac, and all the conversations are perfectly stored there.

My question is: is it possible to restore (or rebuild) at least iMessage database on the iPhone using Mac iMessage data? It would be a nice option in iCloud...

Thanks

Paolo
