Backing up and restoring text messages back to iPhone

All,
Does anybody know of a reliable way to this? Any good programs come to mind that does this?

Thanks

I assume by "corrupt" you mean that the backup has broken bluetooth settings stored inside of it? Let me know if that is not the case.

If you really want to restore that backup, but the bluetooth settings are standing in your way, you could restore and then do a Reset Network Settings from the Settings App -> Reset. If just resetting the network settings doesn't help, then you could do a Reset All Settings.

RE: Kelly Wilkerson

Yeah that is what happened, something in my restore file caused the bluetooth to not work, and I know this is what happened as it works fine when restored to factory settings. I have tried both a network setting reset and a reset all settings.

The strangest thing happened though, it may have been update 8.1.3, but the bluetooth just randomly started working one day. No idea how or why, but I was just checking it (again) and it picked up the car stereo!

Your text messages should be still stored in iTunes backup file, only purchased items like music, podcast were sync through iTunes...so it is possible to restore text messages back to iPhone via iTunes backup on your computer. Or you can sign in your iCloud account get your lost SMS back.

My iPhone IOS is corrupt so says Apple & Verizon and no way to restore without deleting all my text messages. Not acceptable.

Okay.

There has to be a solution...

There is. Restore the iPhone from your current backup.
