App dewleted by mistake... how do I retrieve it?

My daughter was playing "Angry Bird" app on my iPad. Somehow she managed to delete the app.
The app was purchased directly from the ipad and not through itunes on my laptop... therefore, the only place I had the app was on the ipad.
Any ideas on how to get it back???

Have you tried logging in to the app store and see if they let you download again for free? When I have purchased apps I have been able to get free updates, etc. The store knows what you have purchased direct from your iPad on your account.

If you synced your iPad after buying the app it should be in iTunes. However, you can redownload apps for free. See:

Even though you didn't purchase through iTunes, it should be backed up there. A backup occurs automatically every time that you sync.

If you have not backed up your iPad, I believe that you can download it again at no charge.
