Mac 10.6.5 not picking up 802.11n wireless network
Just upgraded to OS X 10.6.5 and immediately hit the first problem: it wouldn't now connect to my 'N' wireless network. Downgrading to 802.11g allowed connection.
So, I changed my security to WPA2. Works now. No problem. It is a shame that this spec changed wasn't publicised much. It would have saved a lot of people time. Then again, I don't know many people other than myself who run a wireless N network only... Thanks for the info!
I try to set a password (WPA2) in Network Preferences but my network remains open... Reset modem, router, SMC, everything, but I can't seem to fix this. Any help? Thank you.
