10.1 refuses to play videos I purchased on iTunes - why?

Updated iTunes to 10.1 Now all of my videos purchase from iTunes won't play back. I can only hear the audio and see a blacked out screen. I have already tried installing iTunes 10.1 twice to no avail. Anyone else with this problem?

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.5), iTunes 10.1

Just noticed the following in my iTunes...

Videos that won't play in iTunes but purchased through iTunes are labeled in the "Info" window as "Kind: Protected." The videos that I purchased from iTunes that WILL play are labeled as "Kind: Purchased." Why are these different if I paid for all of them via iTunes?

MIne that aren't working don't say "Protected" - they just say "MPEG-4 video file", while the working ones are tagged "Purchased MPEG-4 video file"

The ones lacking the Purchased tag still show up in my Purchased list... I'm beginning to think it was a glitch in downloading the file...

I'm having the same problem except the problem is only with videos I purchased prior to 2010. This problem started after I downloaded the new itunes version 10.1, however I can play the videos with no problems in Quicktime but that's a hassle. I downgraded to itunes 10.0 to see if that will fix it but I am still having the issue.

Anyone have any suggestions? And has Apple even acknowledged that there is a problem with itunes?

Thanks
