BBLaunchAgent - want to rid ourselves of it

How do we get rid of this? We tried to sync my wife's BlackBerry to her iMac but she was never happy with how that all worked. The computer is running slow and we often have to wait a long time for web pages to load, etc. A related question is how to uninstall software if there's no uninstall program.

BBLaunchAgent runs as a MacintoshHD icon in the dock all of the time.

iMac and MacBook, Mac OS X (10.5.8)

Simple solution after scratching my head for many days....!

If you have blackberry desktop manager still installed follow from step 2.

Step1 > Reinstall Blackberry Desktop Manager

Step2 > Navigate to /Library/Application Support/BlackBerry/BBLaunchAgent.app

Step3 > Rename the **king file "BBLaunchAgent" to "BBLaunchAgent *" ( * what evr u like)

Step4 > Go to Activity monitor and forcequit the process.

Step5 > Uninstall the Blackberry Desktop Manager software with what evr toll u have eg: Cleanmymac

Have fun...!

Hope this wud work for everyone who suffered like me
