iOS 4.2 is out!!!

What I'm curious what did they actually fix - if anything at all?

Naturally, they don't scream about any fixes. On the home page, all I can find out is the great new features. Yeah, I got those last time. That's when my battery life cut in half. Did they fixed that or they just won't ever bother with it?

That's the only new feature I want.

The update itself did not cut your battery life in half. Something that happened during the update process did that, probably corrupted backup data in an app or the OS. It was fixable in 4.1, and upgrading may or may not fix it.

The features in 4.2 are not as dramatic as they were in 4.0, but Airprint and Airplay are nice, and the 40 security patches are essential.

I am on o2 network in uk as well. I havnt noticed any difference to the signal bars. Seems pretty much the same and perhaps maybe even stronger bars is displaying in my view. This is my opinion though, not a fact.

I guess I jumped the gun a bit. My signal at home seems to be worse, but away from home its fine, almost better. Gutted about the air print.
