NBA League Pass and ATV

If you have apple tv and have NBA league pass broadband, which gives you the luxury of viewing NBA games on your computer, will you be able to use ATV to stream the games on your television?

Also, I know of the airplay feature and the NBA mobile app, which will allow you to watch games on your iPhone...what will the quality of such games being "Airplayed" to your tv via ATV be?

Thanks

Apple tv has released firmware 5.1.1 to fix some issues like ethernet connection but remains unfixed for the nba app. GRRR! Anyone having the same issues?

Apart from the ethernet issue, what other issue(s) are you having with the NBA app?, mine is working OK, apart from questionable video quality on archived games. This may not be Apple's fault.

Glad to hear that 5.1.1 has resolved the etherenet issue, although I'll hold off installing until I read more about it.

My only problem with the nba app is not able to use ethernet as it is quite a stable connection than wireless, and i want to test whether the bad quality archive games will resolve with ethernet connection, yea im having issues with some bad quality archive games, i think you are right, its not apples fault, think the issue is with nba itself coz most of the games are very watchable, but again i wonder why the low quality games turns to hd sometimes, im really confused, there are some inconsistencies. Sorry for crying....

The only issue I'm having with Apple TV Gametime application is the quality of some of the archived games. I have tried wireless and Ethernet connections and it doesn't make a difference either way. I do not believe its my Internet because we are all having the same issues with the same archived games.

Has anyone heard back from Nba TV? I haven't...

I hope this issue gets resolved soon because after watching some of the games in HD, it's hard to watch the questionable quality games. The really bad quality games are UNWATCHABLE.

I also bought Apple TV specifically for the NBA application, that's why I'm disappointed with the quality of some of the archived games. I can't always catch the games live.

I got a reply from ILP Support today and they gave me a list of things to try if I start to have issues again. I will try these things and if it fixes the quality I will let you guys know. They also said that if the game quality does not improve after trying those things to send them another email and include things like my IP address, service provider, download speed etc etc and they will look into the matter further

I watched the Lakers v Magic game (archived) last night, picture was pretty much perfect for the whole game.

I'm from New Zealand, we have international league pass. We bought apple 2 to use airplay (the NBA help desk said that was the only way we could get around having to plug and unplug our laptop in via an HDMI cable to watch the games on tv). Anyway we turned on the apple tv and found we are able to log on and get the live and archived games. Awesome!!! We just watched Houston vs Hawks. (we are LIn fans). Would've been helpful if the NBA help desk had up to date info on which countries can logon.

Anyway airplay wasn't very good, it kept crashing but luckily the feed via apple tv direct has been very good.
