Does "Find text on web pages" work on iPhone 3G/iOS 4.2.1?

According to the website describing iOS 4.2.1 you can search an open web page for keywords; "In Safari, you can do a quick text search to find and highlight specific words and phrases on even the longest web pages." It doesn't appear to be working on my iPhone 3G after installing iOS 4.2.1. I enter a term in the "Google" search box and it doesn't give me the option to search for that word in the currently open page. Can anyone confirm if this works on the iPhone 3G and if I'm doing it correctly?

This does work, When your on safari on your iphone, go to the google search in the upper right, type whatever your looking for then scroll down on the search and on the bottom it will say search on this page and it will show if it found anything on the page where it says that. Click it and then you can click next and it will go through all of those matches.

I took my iPod Touch to the Genius Bar at Apple and asked the Genius about the Find Text feature. He couldn't get it to work, either. He suggested I back it up and do a total restore. I did that. Still doesn't work.
