Audio Only with Netflix, Browser video and other problems

• Audio Only when using airplay from Netflix
• Audio Only when using airplay from embeded video like youtube and Vimeo

Setup: I have an Apple TV 2 /w 4.1 (2010) networked with an Airport Extreme /w Dual Band. iPhone 3GS and iPad with with 4.2.1 Installed.

If I try to use airplay with the methods above I only get audio (no video)

• I also ran into an issue using airplay on the iPad. Airplay does not seem to work consistently.

If I launch the music player on the iPad and enable airplay it often won't work. I Have better luck by double clicking the home button and sliding over to the iPod controls and enabling airplay that way. I don't know why there would be a difference between these two methods.

Mac Mini Server (2010) 8GB, Mac OS X (10.6.5)

Thanks. I guess that explains why I can't use my iPad to send Netflix video to my TV via AppleTV. I just wish Apple would come out with a fix that let's me successfully stream Netflix shows using AppleTV. Their current solution isn't working for me. In my opinion that's the big benefit of AppleTV. If that won't work reliably, I might as well return it and get my $99 back.

At this point I don't feel comfortable recommending AppleTV to my friends. That's unfortunate because it had the potential to be really cool.
