FaceTime over 3G

Hi
Will i ever be able to use FaceTime on the 3G network to call other iPhone users? And will iPhone allow video calling to other makes?

Since FT only works via wifi, are you using a Mifi or some other personal hotspot?

Yes, I use the Verizon MiFi. Since I use both my iPad (which does not have a dedicated carrier) and my MacBook Pro, the Mifi makes the most sense for me. The new 4G Mifi works as well as the old 3G only Mifii.
