No Airplay icon on iPad

Hi,
I upgraded to the new OS. I can use my iPad to control my Apple TV (as a remote), but I do not see the Airplay icon in iPod, Photos, or anywhere else. Any suggestions?

I had the same problem after the upgrade to iOS 7. The problem is Apple relocated the Airplay button from the music screen to the control panel. Just swipe up from the bottom and, if you have setup wifi properly, it will be right in the middle of the control panel.
