Email folders and collapsing them

Hello,

I am sure this may of been posted before but I cannot find a post relating to this.

Within my email I have 100+ folders (through exhange 2003) and they are all fully expanded, is there a way to collapse them as it is a real pain scrolling through them all. Is it a feature missing from the iPhone or a problem with the version of exchange.

thanks

Hi...

Listen guys sorry to dissapoint you but the first post on thie was mid 2010 in this thread were now in late 2012 if Apple were going to listen they would have made the changes by now.

I moved to a G3 a number of months back and an Android tab purely because of the poor performing email app on the IOS system. I kept my iPhone 4 and upgraded the software last night just to check and yup your right no changes to collapsable folders

Roll on IOS7 :-)

what the ****? I hate the unified inbox. I'd like to have all my email separate. I wish there's a way to disable this "VIP, "all inboxes," "flagged" ********. I hate how I can't collapse my email directories. This mail app is completely pathetic. We've requested simple features for years. What's the holdup? I've been asking work to go away from this apple bsphone to an android device for sometime now (solely because of this). I hope we change soon. This is getting ridiculous.

Various people on this forum have suggested emailganizer as a solution. I don't know why I didn't listen to them instead of living with the irritation that Apple has failed to do anything about it every update over the last 2 years. Talk about not listening to your consumers!

Emailganizer is fabulous. Ties into an exchange server and works perfectly - all folders and sub folders neatly nested, lots of choice regarding setup, brilliant search facility. Thank God for 3rd party apps. If we had to rely on Apple we could sit around for the rest of our lives.
