Airprint for brother

I'm having troubles printing from pages, it can't detect my brother MFC-7440N printer and I heard apple has restricted it only for a few printers, could I make it work with my brother printer? If not, is there any program I could use?
Help is appreciated.

They haven't restricted anything, for direct printing to WiFi equipped printers there are only 12 HP printers currently compatible with updates for some OfficeJet printers coming in mid-December.

The code for allowing Airprint to work with Network shared printers was pulled at the last minute apparently due to legal issues with a patent troll.

Go here: http://elpamsoft.com/Downloads.aspx for an executable file that will enable a patch to print to your printer. The computer must be on and not in sleep mode for you to print.

Thanks, I installed it and enabled my printer to sharing, but my printer still doesn't appear, is there anything I could be doing wrong?

I had the same problem but I was able to fix it ...
Simply delete your MFC-7440 in the system preferences and then add it
again ...
That´s it !
