Motorcycle Trip

How would an iPad hold up on a motorcycle trip? My husband thinks the vibration of a Harley wouldn't be good for it.

Not only will it stand up to it, you will find it priceless. I use my ipad in my tank bag as a sat nav and stream audio from it to my helmet via my interphone bluetooth. I feed a cigar power lead into the bottom of the tank bag and the ipad sites in the clear window on top. Best bit is you can control it through the window!!

iPad on tank of Ultra Limited it was too hot. Vertically by the rearview mirror it stays on. Iphone too small to read. Don't try to read when riding. Still in beta stage on the mount and power. Iphone tank mount ok in Ohio for about an hour on sunny day. Have the Harley magnetic phone holder with clear screen. Useless to see through mostly. Convenient to plug into aux port on radio. Better would be to add the HD wiring to put the iphone in the bag and convert the CD/radio to include the iPhone. Then the unit is controlled by the handlebar controls and the screen displays the iphone contents. About 2 or 3 hundred add on to the premium sound system. If you are going to add an amp, there is an iphone conversion wiring offset. All that is under the fairing. You plug in the iphone in the saddlebag and it gets charged also while playing. Probably add that to the list for winter updates to bike by the dealer who also stores it. Ride safely.
